Sox can't finish comeback

The Red Sox fell to the Rays tonight, dropping back a game further from first place in the American League East in the process.

Though they scored two runs in the ninth inning, Julio Lugo lined out to shortstop with Brandon Moss on third base to end the comeback attempt.

Justin Masterson took the loss, his second, with James Shields getting the 5-4 win.
