The Red Sox today announced the signing of two June draft picks.

Righthanded pitcher Kyle Weiland, the second of the team's third round picks and the 108th overall player taken, was signed. Weiland was 2-2 with seven saves at the University of Notre Dame in 2008. He will report to the Lowell Spinners.

Also signed was the team's ninth-round selection, catcher Christian Vazquez from Puerto Rico Baseball Academy High School. He's been assigned to the Gulf Coast Red Sox.

The two signings brings the total number of Sox draft picks signed to 11.
