St. Louis takes the lead

Posted by Nancy Marrapese-Burrell, Globe Staff June 20, 2008 09:55 PM

The Cardinals parlayed a Julio Lugo throwing error into a run and St. Louis is now ahead, 2-1, in the top of the sixth inning. Lugo's throw attempt to first was way off the mark and Rick Ankiel crossed the plate for the Cards with one out.
