Tied up

Posted by Barbara Matson, Globe Staff June 24, 2008 08:10 PM

Masterson gets tested a bit in this inning. Conor Jackson singled up the middle, moved to second on his fifth stolen base of the year, and scored on Chad Tracy's single to left, which bounced off the glove of Ellsbury.
1-1.
After Chris Young flied out to left, Ojeda got a walk on five pitches. Masterson's first two pitches to Jeff Salazar were balls, but then he got the Dback outfielder to fly out to right, and struck out Chris Snyder, swinging, to end the inning.
