What slump?

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff June 28, 2008 07:49 PM

So much for his 2-for-15 (six strikeouts) slump.

Manny Ramirez just blasted a pitch from Brandon Backe to the wall in left field, scoring two runs for the Sox. He brought in Dustin Pedroia, who continued his tear with two more hits so far today, and J.D. Drew, who walked.

Mike Lowell followed that up with his second double in as many innings, making the score 3-0, Red Sox.

Oh, and as usual, it's almost like a home game for the Sox in here.
