A-Rod homers

With that home run, going out to left field off Tim Wakefield, Alex Rodriguez didn't just put the Yankees up by a 1-0 score. He also tied Mickey Mantle.

That was Rodriguez's 536th homer of his career, which tied him with Mantle on the all-time home run list. It was also his 18th homer of the season.

So much for those Madonna distractions.
