David Ortiz Watch: Third at-bat

PAWTUCKET, R.I. -- Ortiz recorded his first strikeout of the series in the bottom of the fifth inning.

After fouling down the right field line to up the count to 3-2, he struck out swinging on an off-speed pitch from Chris Lambert.

With the strikeout, his line moved to 3 for 8 (.375), 3 HRs, 4 RBIs, 2 walks, 4 runs, and one strikeout for the series. So far he's seen 31 pitches and swung at 14, including 13 and 6 tonight.

The PawSox salvaged another run to make it 9-4 in the bottom of the sixth. Toledo has managed just one hit since its first-inning explosion.
