Explanation

Just a quick apology for the absence of blog posts from the fifth inning to extras. Players were coming out of the game and doing media availabilities -- like in spring training -- so I had to monitor those to make sure no Sox left.

Even so, Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, and Jonathan Papelbon all took off long ago without speaking to the media.

(Hard to blog and stake out the Yankee Stadium hallways at the same time.)

  1. I'm not surprised that Papelbon didn't talk to the media (well except for y'all) because of the way the NY media has treated him.
