Manny in the lineup

Red Sox left fielder Manny Ramirez, who missed Wednesday's game with a sore knee, has been penciled into tonight's lineup, which also features Jacoby Ellsbury batting ninth.

3. David Ortiz, DH
4. Manny Ramirez, LF
5. Mike Lowell, 3B
6. J.D. Drew, RF
7. Jed Lowrie, SS

  1. Oh, no! What in the world will they be talking about on WEEI now? I swear, that station is like a bunch of elderly washerwomen, sitting around yapping and making much ado about absolutely NOTHING.

    What's Manny doing? Is this a contract ploy? He must be faking this! Yeah, he's faking it, and will probably sit out the rest of the season with a phantom injury! He's gonna quit on the Sox! What a bum! Hey, should they just suspend Manny now? How about fining him and suspending him? Hey, maybe they should bench him! That will teach him a lesson!

    WEEI and other sports talk stations are the reasons why athletes HATE the press. It's really pathetic what goes on for the sake of ratings these days.

    I guess they'll have to come up with a NEW angle, now that Manny is in the lineup. Of course, that won't be a problem. There's always plenty of stuff to talk about...even if you have to stretch the truth-- or even make things up completely.
