Nice catch

Jacoby Ellsbury made a great, leaping catch on a ball off the bat of Derek Jeter that reached all the way to the warning track. Ellsbury made the catch just in front of the Granite City sign in centerfield, getting a huge ovation from the crowd.

Manny Ramirez added a nice catch of his own in the left field corner to end the inning.

  1. Great leaping catch? How about a little tougher than routine fly out, with NO NEED to jump.
