The Orioles have built that one-run lead in the eighth inning and now lead 6-3.

With two outs, Brian Fahey singled to right field to score Melvin Mora and Jay Payton. Mora reached after bing hit by a pitch and Payton pinch ran for Luke Scott, who was intentionally walked by Manny Delcarmen.

Delcarmen gave up one hit in that inning, but gave up two runs with two walks. He had issued runs in just two of his last 18 games.
