Papi coming up

PORTLAND, Maine -- Sea Dogs coming up in the bottom of the first, after Connecticut nicked Portland starter Dave Gassner for a run.

Gassner, by the way, had been wearing No. 34 for Portland, but, yesterday, was “persuaded” to change it to No. 37.
