Papi likes Portland
By Dan Hickling
Globe Correspondent
PORTLAND, Maine -- The local real estate market is hurting, as it is everywhere, but if Ortiz’s comments in the pre-game presser are to be taken seriously, some lucky realtor might be in for a big commission.
With temps in the low 70s and dropping, Ortiz found the cool breezes refreshing.
“I love it,” he said. “Is it always like that? I might move here.”
We’re in the top of the third, Connecticut up 4-1 (Portland’s run on a Mark Wagner homer in the second). Ortiz could get his second AB against Broshuis in the bottom of this inning, but is fifth in line.
More to come.
