Strike a pose

NEW YORK -- David Ortiz, making his way through the outfield while the AL All Stars took BP, stopped in front of the right-field bleachers, home of some of the Yankees' most rabid fans, and struck a series of muscle-man poses, all while grinning ear to ear.

Manny Ramirez, BTW, is here after skipping the interview session this afternoon. MLB spokesman Pat Courtney said Manny will not be fined for his absence.

  1. Why would there even be a need to make a comment on a fine? The media session is not mandatory, it never has been.

  1. Forget the second paragraph - it's just Manny being Manny.
    The first paragraph is where the fun is!
