Two runs in

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff July 27, 2008 10:31 PM

Despite having the bases loaded and no one out, with two runs in already, the Yankees managed to not score another run in the inning. Alex Rodriguez lined to third base, Xavier Nady flied out to centerfield, and Robinson Cano grounded out to the pitcher.

Jon Lester also threw 29 pitches in the inning.
