Upon further review....
....it's true. The Mariners have scored a run off a Sox starting pitcher before the eighth inning. It took me another inning to verify, but Raul Ibanez took Clay Buchholz deep to lead off the fourth, only the third run scored by the M's off a Sox starter. Jon Lester threw 7 1/3 scoreless Monday, and Daisuke held the M's scoreless for 7 before they scored two in the eighth.
Do you think Ibanez has enlisted shamans in an effort to be traded out of here before the deadline?
