Though Tim Wakefield might have been the better candidate for the wild pitch, it was Joba Chamberlain who threw one. And at the worst possible time.

With no outs in the fifth, Chamberlain threw a wild pitch to Coco Crisp, walking him, and allowing Kevin Youkilis to score from third base. That ties the score at 1-1, with two men still on (first and second) and no outs in the top of the fifth inning.
