  1. What no Varitek? Off day tomorrow and the hottest this guy has been in months - that is Jimy Williams-esque. Is Varitek hurt?

  1. Doesn't make sense to me that Tito would sit Varitek tonight as it appears he is coming out of his season long slump. Just because it's Cash's "turn" shouldn't mean we sit a "hot" 'Tek

  1. So, Varitek finally shows signs of life at the plate with homers in two consecutive games and he heads to the bench? I know Cash was promised a chance to start this game but can't that plan be altered when Tek may be breaking out of his funk?
