KANSAS CITY - Clay Buchholz trails, 4-2, in the fourth.

He allowed three runs in the third when nine batters came to the plate. He walked two and hit John Buck with the bases loaded to force in a run. Mark Teahen and Billy Butler also knocked in runs.
