Drew knocks in a pair

KANSAS CITY - The Red Sox have added to their lead with J.D. Drew's clutch bases-loaded single in the sixth off Ron Mahay, scoring a pair of runs. Drew ran the count to 3-0 and then 3-1 before putting a nice smooth swing on a Mahay fastball.

The Sox lead, 5-2, in the bottom of the sixth.
