KANSAS CITY - Jacoby Ellsbury has smashed a three-run homer off Ron Mahay giving the Sox an 8-2 lead in the 7th.

It was Ellsbury's first career homer off a lefthanded pitcher.

Mahay hit Sean Casey with a pitch with one out. After Mike Lowell struck out, Jason Bay singled and Ellsbury smoked a pitch to center for his first homer since June 15th.
