Tie game

Posted by Barbara Matson, Globe Staff August 12, 2008 10:45 PM

Pedroia does it again, cracking a double off the left field wall to send Ellsbury home from second and tied the game, 16-16.

Pedroia has five hits in the game, tying a career high.

First five-hit game by a Red Sox player this season.

  1. Correction, Barbara. Ellsbury scored from first on Pedroia's double, not from second.

  1. Ellsbury was on first, not second. The kid was flying!
