  1. Its was really sad to see Manny become a cancer to the Sox... The team did the right thing... The air is clear... no worries about picking up his option..The Sox will survive.. Remember Nomar ?.... Theo's got guts and he also got a good outfielder.. I predict good things to come... With that, Ill always love Manny for the entertainment and the 2 championships,,

  1. By no means do I want to paint Manny as a victim of cirumstance, but doea it seem his new agent, Boras, had manipulated him into forcing this issue? I mean, Boras now stands to make a lot more money than he did before, and didn't he put A-Rod and the Yankees through a similar tribulation last year and cashed in on that? I say good for the Red Sox brass for not backing down to Manny like the Yankees did on A-Rod.
