  1. I find it mind boggling that the Sox cannot pick up the tab for hot dogs and sodas for all that show up!!

  1. I find it hard to understand why Francona scratches Dice K on Friday, because of a rain delay,in what was still a meaningful game, then pitches him today in a game, after a rain delay, that means nothing, 3 days before the playoffs? Anyone, enlighten me.

  1. OK...I'll tell you why....First let it be know I am a diehard Boston Sports fan and have been my whole life.....but I think Francona is the worst manager of pitches in the Major Leagues

  1. I'm just trying to find out if the Ruggles shuttle is going to be making trips to and from Fenway Park for the rally.

  1. Friday's game was not meaningful. There was no way the Rays were going to lose out, which is what had to happen....and it didn't.. There was also no way the Sox were going to sweep the Yanks, who were playing in the only thing close to 2008 playoffs for them.....which is what also had to happen and it didn't.
Pitch Dice-K on Sunday to give him a few innings work before a likely Friday start.
Francona is such a bad manager of pitchers that he has two WS titles, three wild cards and an AL East title in five seasons, with the 2008 playoffs looming. There are 30 teams that would hire him tomorrow.

  1. Why can sox fans not value how great a leader francona is, The Dice K transition was and is a very tricky situation that Francona handled perfectly like he has most others!!!! We HAVE IT GREAT NOW ,ENJOY IT!! J.W.
