Other minor news: The Red Sox purchased the contract of infielder Gil Velazquez from Pawtucket and pitcher Bartolo Colon was placed on the restricted list, ending his suspension.

  1. When is Dustin going to get a couple of days off? Also, what about Tek? Catching is pretty demanding. Couldn't Ross or Kottaras fill in to give him a breather?

    Is it telling that JD Drew is not in the lineup, even at DH. Poor guy - he played so well early in the year - we forget that picked up the team with Papi on the DL. Wish he were healthy.
