Three punchouts

Daisuke Matsuzaka struck out the side in the second, getting swinging third strikes with three different pitches: changeup (Luke Scott), slider (Lou Montanez), fastball (Guillermo Quiroz).

Matsuzaka, however, is already up to 50 pitches through two innings.
