Tonight's Angels lineup

The Angels have set their Game 1 lineup for tonight, according to the Orange County Register's Angels blog. Here it is:

1. Chone Figgins, 3B
2. Garret Anderson, LF
3. Mark Teixeira, 1B
4. Vladimir Guerrero, DH
5. Torii Hunter, CF
6. Howie Kendrick, 2B
7. Mike Napoli, C
8. Gary Matthews Jr., RF
9. Erick Aybar, SS

SP -- John Lackey

The Red Sox have not set their roster yet. The Globe staff in Anaheim will bring you the latest updates once the roster is finalized and the official Game 1 lineups announced.

  1. I see they have now updated the "projected lineup" with the actual lineup and Aybar is, indeed, not hitting 3rd. Go SOX!

  1. Why is Mike Timlin on the playoff roster?. As 7th/8th inning pitcher, he's the fifth option out of the pen. Nice career, but turning into a charity case.
