  1. Somebody get Shaugnz some decent shades. Those look like the ones my mother wore when she took us to Huntington Beach in the early 1970s. YIKES! A friend of mine said basically reporters are "liberals who dress bad," which Dan's shades more than illustrate.

  1. Whoa, whoa, whoa... wait a minute here... is Shaughnessy actually rooting for the Angels here??? (1:16-1:30) I'm a bit baffled... last I checked he was a BOSTON reporter... right? Let the Sox get in the Angels' heads psychologically... thats fine by me! GO SOX!!!

  1. Why is no one discussing the fact that the start times for these games is ATROCIOUS!!! a 10 PM start for game 1 (which will really be more like 10:20) means the game MIGHT get over by 1 am. That's just willfully disrespectful of the fans of the Red Sox. Someone give me ONE good reason why this game could not have started at 8 PM??? Baseball and the Networks should be ashamed of themselves and the East Coast media should have the fortitude to stand up and raise HELL about this. Glad we all don't seem to mind that not only do we have to decide to be exhausted the days after these games, if we want to watch them live, but that we also have NO CHANCE of sharing these games with our Sons and Daughters. Enjoy the games Red Sox Nation (for those of you that can actually stay up to watch the whole thing).

  1. Glad it says his name on the report because I had to go back to check. I thought Barry Manilow had been hired to do RedSox reports now.

  1. Dan's right. The Sox have to steal this one. This year the Sox are limping into the postseason with injuries to Lowell, Papi, Beckett and Drew, and Papelbon doesn't seem as dominant. Plus, the Angels want revenge. We need Lester to go the distance and for Bay, Pedroia and Youk to come up big.

  1. Bay, Pedroia, and Youk! Yea they need to come up big but I notice that no one in all of Red Sox nation has talked about Big Papi in the slightest bit in a good while. Yes he had a bad year and yes Manny isn't in the line up anymore but were talking about David Ortiz aka "BIG PAPI" and the post season! Their is no way his season long slump continues. He's going to break out of it tonight and the sox aren't just going to steal a game from the Angels, there going to destroy them!!!
    GO SOX!!!!!

  1. Yeah, Shaughnessy's shades look like my grandmother's. Anyway, I like our chances with Lester tonight. Got tics for Friday night so will be hauling down to La La Land from Fruitsville (S.F.) Friday morning. Let's hope D-K can get into the 8th on his 130 pitches this time.

"liberals who dress bad," which Dan's shades more than illustrate.

Illustrate that Dan is a liberal, or dresses bad?

You need better friends who are not the low information, Rush wannabe types, or are you just a normal conservative, with foot in mouth disease dumping on your friends?
