Red Sox slugger David Ortiz and his wife, Tiffany, will host the inaugural David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic in the Dominican Republic Dec. 4-7.

The event directly supports the David Ortiz Children's Fund, which is dedicated to raising funds for children in New England and the Dominican Republic and providing access to pediatric care.

Ortiz will host some of the biggest names in sports at the four-day event, including Alex Rodriguez, Vladimir Guerrero, Albert Pujols, as well as Boston sports legends John Havlicek, Bobby Orr, and Jim Rice, among others.

Auction items include pitching lessons with Jonathan Papelbon, a game of "H-O-R-S-E" with Ray Allen, and dinner for four with Ortiz himself.

Online bids can be made and further information can be found at DavidOrtizCelebrityGolfClassic.com.
