Tickets on sale Dec. 13
Tickets for 15 April and May Red Sox home games and for four-game "SoxPax" (see below for game details) will go on sale Saturday, Dec. 13 online (redsox.com) and at the "Christmas At Fenway" event at Fenway Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day. Tickets for the rest of the season will go on sale at a later date.
Because of space limitations at Fenway Park, fans must register at redsox.com for the chance to attend the "Christmas At Fenway" event. Registration begins Dec. 3 at noon and ends Dec. 8.
Additionally, the Red Sox will host another event -- what they're calling the "Great Fenway Park Yard Sale" -- on Sunday, Dec. 14 along the third-base-side concourse inside the park. They'll be selling memorabilia, game-used items, and physical parts of the ballpark (including bricks). Preregistration on redsox.com is required to attend this event as well. Separate registration for this event begins at noon on Dec. 3 and ends Dec. 8.
For both events, the attendees will be selected and contacted from a pool of registrants and winners will be asked to come to Fenway during a selected time frame. Each winner will be sent an e-mail confirmation, which includes their preselected arrival time. This confirmation must be presented at check-in with a photo ID for admittance to Fenway.
Single games that are available for sale include the Rays games April 8 and 9, the Orioles games April 17, 18, and 19, the Twins games April 21 and 22, the Indians games May 6 and 7, the Rays games May 8, 9, and 10 and the games against the Blue Jays May 19, 20, and 21. There is a limit of two four-game SoxPax packages per customer of up to four tickets per game for a total of 32 tickets. Fans can also purchase a maximum of eight tickets from the single-game sales with any combination of games.
Fans selected to attend the yard sale event Dec. 14 also will be given an online code that, according to a Red Sox press release, "will guarantee them the ability to purchase tickets for the 2009 season online at redsox.com."
Fans who do not have Internet access or who require ADA accessible seating may also call 1-877-REDSOX9 for tickets. Hearing impaired fans can call the Red Sox TTY line at (617) 226-6644.

Yet another way I'll spend several hours trying to get tickets without luck. I wonder how much the scalpers will get for tickets this year?
Thanks for the info, I'll be up Saturday morning getting my 2 sox pax like have been every year for a while now.
very exciting, thanks for the info. go sox!

A little frustrated... Been on the season tix waiting list for 5 years now. Paid to be on that list... Each year seats are added yet that list does not dwindle and rarely are perks available to wait list members.. Just venting but maybe they should give first dibs to wait list members for these sox packs.. We are actually comitting to spend thousands once the opportunity arises..
I am interested in attending both events. Thank you
Thanks for the heads up. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, it'll be worth it in the end.
With so much uproar over Native American mascot names and the like, why the Tomahawk and Noc-A-Homa (I know..Knock-a-Homer)? Can't say I am a fan of the Brave, Bomber or Yankee names either, since only one game is against that opponent, who is also included in other packs. Coulda done better marketing folk.

And all these tickets will be scoffed up by the ticket agencies and scalpers. The Red Sox drop the ball big time when it comes to giving the regular guy try to get tickets!!
Hopefully the Sox will go 72-90 so we could clear out the pink hats.
Why bother. You have to keep hitting resubmit a million times in a row. The scalpers have automated systems for buying these tickets.
HEADS UP!....The first chance to buy Red Sox tickets is coming up on December 13th. Registration to be chosen to attend the annual "Christmas at Fenway" starts at 12 noon today.......There's also going to be a new separate "Sidewalk Sale" of memorabilia, such as game used equipment and physical items from the ballpark (including bricks). Registration to attend that, is also required.
Great move!!! That's a win-win for both sides.
Anyone know how much it will cost to buy the "shopping bag" at the yard sale event?
is it me or are half these comments from lucchino's minions? what a corporate sham the red sox have become. stay home and watch our evil empire from the comfort of your home, without the $8 beers
Now that the Sox have won 2 world championships, It's time for a losing season to facilitate a " market correction". I'm tired of the scalpers, the bandwagoneers, and the money grubbing ownership...
My 10-year old son Sam wanted so badly to go to a red sox game at Fenway, I tried...but I am not spending $250/per ticket for a decent seat from StubHub or ACE ticket. Sorry Sam, but mom took you to a Celtics game for a lot less money!
how about some opportunities for "Nation" members who don't live within a half day's drive of Fenway? Those of us who live in other cities/countries have no choices now but StubHub and other scalpers....
I agree fully with poster #15. The RS are all about making money. Fewer tickets are available online as they go to the agencies and scalpers first. And if you do get tickets, you shell out a fortune for beer and snacks, and you get to seat your kids next to drunkards. Fenway stopped being fun a long time ago. Now it's a battle for getting there, parking, and even watching the game with all the people walking in front of you. Stay home where it's warm and dry, and a cold beer is about a buck or two a bottle.
I think I'll buy a couple of Southwest Airlines "wanna get away" fares and pick up my Sox tix at Camden Yards where the seats are normal, the angles are better and the access is much more predictable. By the way, this combo package is a fraction of what Stub Hub or Ace charge...
We don't have a new 50,000 seat stadium like the Stanks do to help support their over-spending for overweight pitchers not worth $161 Mill. Every little chance RS ownership has to make a buck, they should...or you'll be crying when the Yankees are ahead of us in the standings...won't 'cha. crying and piss'in and a moaning.
Go spend some of your money this weekend to help support the team so they can go out a buy Teixiera! Go now. Go wait in line. Sleep overnight on the sidewalk if need be.
Any idea if the sox have notified those selected to attend these events? Notification was to occur today, the 10th.
Hey Will,
I've been a fan since the early 70's and now my wife and 8 & 10 year old daughters are fans too AND pink hatters...because they are girls. Stop the hating and get off your holier than thou soap box!
So last night I was one of the lucky ones to win admission to "Christmas at Fenway." If there's anyone out there who's been to one of these, what's the wait like for tickets? How many people get to go? Tickets go on sale at 10. The e-mail I got says "fans are invited to line up at 8." I'm guessing there'll already be a line at 8, so should I go at 7? 6? Do people wait overnight?
I also won entry into Christmas at Fenway, but it is giving me a VERY specific time in which I will be allowed to enter on the invitation.
I was unlucky, and did not win admission. Too the lucky one, does it say how many fans you can bring with you? Is there a limit of 1 other person or upto 4 can enter.
I would like to get in, ok if can not purchase tickets. There will be other lottery options for tickets, like green monster and C's corner later.
Can anyone tell me how much the sox pax are going for i haven't been able to find a price
Ah yes...the annual ritual of the Boston Red Sox pretending to be giving the average working Joe a chance to get Red Sox Tickets. Reality. You have no chance in hell getting tickets because they are sold exclusively to Ace Tickets and other professional ticket rackets so they can be sold at a much higher premium. After they are sold for 3-6 times the face value, the Red Sox get a percentage from the ticket brokers. It is the only way the sox can compete cash flow wise with the Yankees because Fenway is so small. So, good luck as you sit in the fake virtual waiting room only to find out after 4 hours everything is sold out except a single standing room only seat for a Royals game on a Wednesday in May.
How do you find out when the rest of games go on sale? Is it in the middle of the night some day and they only tell brokers about it?
