First Cooperstown, then Letterman
Jim Rice, the longtime Red Sox slugger who was at last elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame Monday, was joined by fellow 2009 inductee Rickey Henderson as guests on "Late Show With David Letterman" tonight.
Or perhaps we should call it "Late Show With Rice and Rickey." Either way, it sounds like appointment viewing to us.
Update: Check out the video of their appearance below:

By appointment viewing, I assume you mean that the only other option would be gauging your eyes out with needles.
I was shocked that he didn't say "Well the thing about it is..." or "Well there's no doubt about it..." his two favorite phrases on NESN. Also, did anyone notice that he mouthed the words that Rickey Henderson was saying?
I actually watched this, and it was pretty funny. Rickey Henderson did not say one word. Jim Rice did the top ten list on the show, and the funniest one, was when he had to say " I played baseball with Jose Canseco, and never inserted anything into his azz, lmao. Even Jim couldn't help but laugh at that one. Congrats Jim, I thnk you being an analyst on NESN has really helped you, because it has changed my mind about you as a person.
I'll take the blow to the head!
Let's see how Rice behaves after the cameras are turned off. Congratulations Ricky!
i don't think Ricky knows how to read very well....
Rice is having a great time, and that's nice to see.
If by gauge you mean gouge, then no...
