FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Red Sox will participate in their first official full-squad workout of the spring this morning, but it's a quiet start to the day as the team is currently in meetings before taking the field.

Many of the position players, including David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, Jason Varitek, and Julio Lugo got in some early swings at the batting cages before ducking back in the clubhouse for 8:30 meetings.

We'll have more as things get going here at the player development complex.
