The Red Sox are getting ready to face the Tampa Bay Rays, the team they'll face next Monday in Game 1, but the above title refers as much to today's lineup as the opponent. This is probably the lineup the Red Sox will go with to start the year, starter Clay Buchholz aside. Today, it'll face Tampa Bay starter Andy Sonnanstine.

Red Sox
1. Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. David Ortiz, DH
4. Kevin Youkilis, 1B
5. J.D. Drew, RF
6. Jason Bay, LF
7. Mike Lowell, 3B
8. Jed Lowrie, SS
9. Jason Varitek, C
-- Clay Buchholz, SP

Jonathan Papelbon and Justin Masterson -- making his first bullpen appearance of the spring -- will also pitch today. There's a chance this will be Buchholz's final major league start with the Red Sox for now despite his lights-out spring.
