Lineup

Posted by Amalie Benjamin, Globe Staff March 9, 2009 10:08 AM

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- It's all quiet here at City of Palms Park, though that's mostly because much of the team has headed up to Bradenton, Fla., where the Sox will face the Pirates this afternoon with Jon Lester on the mound.

Back here are Jacoby Ellsbury and J.D. Drew and Rocco Baldelli and Julio Lugo and some assorted pitchers running on the warning track.

We'll have word from Mike Lowell in a second on his readiness for his first game, which comes tomorrow, but first here is the Sox lineup for today's game. It has a heavy dose of the players vying for "The Kotsay Spot," with Chris Carter, Jeff Bailey, Brad Wilkerson, and Paul McAnulty all taking the field.
