BRADENTON, Fla. -- Just arrived at McKechnie Field, where the Red Sox will face the Pittsburgh Pirates today at 1:05 p.m. The Sox have yet to arrive yet, but the starting lineups have been posted. One odd note: The Sox will use a designated hitter in this game. The Pirates will not.

Josh Beckett will be making his final spring start. Beckett will be limited to somewhere within the range of 60 pitches as the Sox scale back in anticipation of Monday's opener against the Tampa Bay Rays at Fenway.

Beckett will be opposed by Pirates lefty Paul Maholm.

The lineups:

Red Sox
Jacoby Ellsbury, cf
Dustin Pedroia, 2b
Chris Carter, 1b
Rocco Baldelli, dh
Jed Lowrie, ss
George Kottaras, c
Chip Ambres, lf

Freddy Sanchez, 2b
Nate McLouth, cf
Ryan Doumit, c
