Welcome to Fenway

Fashionably late was about 30 minutes ago. Sorry for the delay. If it’s any excuse, I think we’re all recovering from last night’s wild one.

We’re already through the top of the first.

Josh Beckett ripped through Brian Roberts and Adam “Promise I’m Not Pac Man” Jones. Terry Francona said he’s got a ton of arms ready to through tonight. He actually reeled them off like the seven dwarves: Lopie and Okie and Saito and Pap.

Here are lineups for you guys.

Baltimore Orioles

Brian Roberts, 2B
Adam Jones CF
Nick Markakis RF
Aubrey Huff 1B
Ty Wigginton 3B
Luke Scott DH
Greg Zaun C
Felix Pie LF
Cesar Izturis SS
A Eaton, SP

Boston Red Sox

Jecoby Ellsbury CF
Dustin Pedroia
David Ortiz DH
Kevin Youkilis 1B
J.D. Drew RF
Jason Bay LF
Mike Lowell 3B
Jason Varitek C
Nick Green SS
Josh Beckett, SP

Beckett’s apparently 4-for-8 lifetime against Eaton. Francona said there was not chance he’d actually wind up hitting.
