PAWTUCKET 8, Gwinnet 5
Rehabbing Red Sox outfielder Mark Kotsay went 1 for 5 with an RBI and a strikeout. Carlos Maldonado went 1 for 2 with a home run, two walks, and three RBI. Gil Velazquez went 1 for 3 with a run, a double, and two RBI. Chris Carter went 2 for 4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. Daniel Bard allowed two hits and struck out one in a scoreless ninth to earn his fourth save.

Connecticut 5, PORTLAND 2
Outfielder Matt Sheely went 2 for 3 with a run and a walk in his first game since being promoted from Salem. Aaron Bates went 2 for 4 with two RBI. Starter Blake Maxwell allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings on eight hits while striking out two. The Sea Dogs had eigth hits, all singles.

SALEM 10, Myrtle Beach 4
Jason Place went 3 for 4 with a double, an RBI, and two runs. Che-Hsuan Lin went 2 for 3 with two walks, a double, and three runs. Luis Exposito went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBI. The Red Sox pounded 16 hits.

Charleston 2, GREENVILLE 0
Tim Federowicz went 2 for 4 with a double. Michael Alamanzar went 0 for 4 with four strikeouts, and he's now batting .230. Starter Bryan Price, the Sox' second draft pick last season, allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five in 5 1/3 innings.
