PHILADELPHIA - Rocco Baldelli and Nick Green have hit back-to-back homers in the second inning and the Sox have scored two more after that to overtake the Phils, 4-1. The Phillies scored a first-inning run with two outs against Josh Beckett on three straight singles, Jayson Werth's knocking in Chase Utley.

After Baldelli and Green, who was playing second base today, went yard George Kottaras walked, Julio Lugo singled. Jacoby Ellsbury's sac fly to deep center got Kottaras in and after a walk to Kevin Youkilis, Jason Bay singled to center field scoring the fourth run of the inning.
