PAWTUCKET 4, Indianapolis 2
Starter Charlie Zink allowed two earned runs on seven hits and two walks in 5 2/3 innings. Infielder Travis Denker went 2 for 4 with a double and a run. DH Chris Carter went 2 for 4 with a run. Centerfielder Freddy Guzman went 3 for 5 with a run and an RBI.

Binghamton 10, PORTLAND 8, 10 innings
Second baseman Ryan Khoury went 3 for 5 with a double, a run, and an RBI. DH Jon Still went 2 for 4 with a double, a home run, and four RBI. Aaron Bates, who was named Eastern League player of the week for the second time this season, went 1 for 5 with a walk, a double, a run, and an RBI. Argenis Diaz went 1 for 3 with a run and two walks and made two errors, bringing his total to 12. Starter Felix Doubront allowed four runs, none earned, in 3 1/3 innings on one hit and four walks while striking out five.

Potomac 8, SALEM 6
Kristopher Negron went 2 for 5 with three runs. Leftfielder Chih-Hsien Chiang went 1 for 3 with two RBI and a double. Catcher Luis Exposito went 1 for 4 with a double and two RBI. Reliever Robert Coello allowed two runs, none earned, in three innings to lower his ERA to 0.38.

GREENVILLE was off.
