LOUISVILLE 4, Pawtucket 2
First baseman Jeff Bailey went 2 for 5. Third baseman Travis Denker went 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Leftfielder Paul McAnulty went 1 for 4 with a solo home run. Freddy Guzman went 2 for 3 with a walk and a run. Javier Lopez allowed no hits and a walk in a scoreless inning.

PORTLAND 5, Binghamton 3
The Sea Dogs scored three in the bottom of the ninth to win. Lars Anderson delivered a bases-loaded, one-out, two-RBI single to tie the game, and Ryan Kalish singled with two outs to win it. Anderson went 4 for 5 with a double and three RBI. Kalish went 3 for 5 with two RBI. Leftfielder Aaron Bates went 2 for 4 with a walk and three runs. He is now batting .351, second in the Eastern League.

Potomac 2, SALEM 1
Leftfielder Jason Place went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Third baseman Jonathan Hee went 1 for 2 with a walk, a double, and a run. Starter Kyle Weiland allowed no runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five in five innings.

GREENVILLE 7, Asheville 4
DH Tim Federowicz went 2 for 3 with two doubles and two RBI. Catcher Ryan Lavarnway went 1 for 4 with a solo home run. Third baseman Will Middlebrooks went 2 for 4 with a double and two runs. First baseman Anthony Rizzo went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Starter Brock Huntzinger allowed one run on three hits and no walks while striking out five in six innings.
