All hell is breaking loose at Comerica. The Sox lead, 10-5, after eight.

Kevin Youkilis just left the game with a leg injury in the bottom of the eighth.
On the Youkilis injury, Nick Green's bobble of a Josh Anderson grounder created a close play at first and Anderson's leg got tangled with Youkilis. Youk was clearly wounded and agitated. It looked like it was his right ankle.

It was one of three infield errors by the Sox in a space of four batters.

The Sox led, 10-0, when the eighth started, but Curtis Granderson hit a bases loaded triple off rookie Daniel Bard to make it 10-5. All five runs were unearned.

Dustin Pedroia and Mike Lowell have also made errors in this inning.

Beckett, who had a no-hitter with two out in the seventh, was lifted with two on and two out in the eighth. He walked to the dugout with a 10-1 lead.

He also plunked Gerald Laird in the eighth. Laird tried to break up the no-hitter with a bunt in the sixth.
