Rehabbing shortstop Jed Lowrie went 0 for 4 with an RBI and two strikeouts. Catcher Mark Wagner went 1 for 1 with a double and a run. Second baseman Travis Denker went 1 for 3 with a walk, a double, a run, and an RBI. Starter Kris Johnson allowed four runs on 11 hits and a walk in five innings.

Catcher Jon Otness went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBI. Leftfielder Ryan Kalish went 1 for 3 with a walk and two runs. Rightfielder Jason Place, playing his third game since a promotion from Single A Salem, went 1 for 3 with a walk. Starter Felix Doubront allowed three runs on five hits and three walks in four innings.

Centerfielder Che-Hsuan Lin went 4 for 5 with a double and two runs. Shortstop Yamaico Navarro went 2 for 5 with a home run, a double, and five RBI, all five of the Red Sox runs. Rightfielder Daniel Nava went 2 for 4 with a run. Starter Stephen Fife allowed one run on six hits and no walks in six innings while striking out five.
GREENVILLE 8, Hagerstown 5
DH Ryan Lavarnway went 2 for 5 with two home runs and six RBI. Centerfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker went 2 for 4 with a double, two runs, and a walk. Third baseman Will Middlebrooks went 1 for 4 with a home run and two RBI. Starter Stolmy Pimental allowed three runs on five hits and a walk in five innings while striking out five.
LOWELL 6, Aberdeen 4
Rightfielder Shannon Wilkerson went 2 for 4 with a run and two RBI. Centerfielder Roland Bermudez went 1 for 3 with a run and an RBI. William Latimer pitched 1 2/3 perfect innings, striking out one, for the save.
