This from the Sox:

9:30 a.m.: Red Sox batting practice

10:30 a.m.: Angels Batting Practice

National Anthem: Grammy nominated blues and soul artist Susan Tedeschi

Ceremonial First Pitch: Former Red Sox outfielder Dave Henderson

12:07 p.m.: First pitch

Wow, Dave Henderson. Had the Red Sox won it in 1986, there would be statues in this town for Hendu. His home run against the Angels in Game 5 of the ALCS off ill-fated Donnie Moore remains one of the great moments in team history.

If Hendu can't bring them some luck against the Angels, nobody can.

Meanwhile, if you just got up and have tickets for the game, find a way to take public transportation. There's a road race going through Fenway and all sorts of roads are blocked off. It's a real mess if you're in a car. Prepare for that.
