Red Sox likely to meet with Cuban LHP
Aroldis Chapman, a 21-year-old Cuban defector with a 100-mph fastball, is expected to arrive in New York as early as today. According to his agent, Edwin Mejia, meetings with Major League teams will follow.
The Red Sox and Yankees are among the teams believed to have an interest in Chapman, who has established residency in Europe and is eligible to sign at any time.
ESPN.com reported that Chapman will visit cities he is interested in.
