Major League Baseball could end droughts around the world by putting the World Series team on a plane and bringing the World Series in. Rain is sure to follow.

Yes, it's raining in the Bronx and has been all day. But MLB officials say their Bud Selig-approved forecast is for the rain to clear before game time. We shall see.

As I write this, actually, the skies are clearing.
