Lee: I would have pitched

According to Cliff Lee, he and Charlie Manuel had a brief conversation about whether he could pitch on three days' rest tonight.

Lee said he had never done it before but was willing. Manuel decided to start Joe Blanton.

If Blanton pitches well tonight, Manuel will look like a genius. If not, they'll want his hide in Philadelphia.
