INDIANAPOLIS - Alan Hendricks, who represents 21-year-old Cuban lefty Aroldis Chapman said the Red Sox are definitely "participants" in the hunt for the flamethrower. The Sox will attend a workout for Chapman in Houston next week.

Chapman switched to the Hendricks Brothers agency two weeks ago.

"At this point things are very preliminary," Hendricks said. "We're just starting to get into it seriously."

A few teams are expected to attend the workout. At the moment the Hendricks are trying to determine the parameters of Chapman's payscale.
