Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Cuban LHP Aroldis Chapman has agreed to a $30 million deal and it may be with the Reds.

The Red Sox were interested, but that is a hefty contract.

UPDATE, 3:20 p.m.: Passan has now confirmed that the Reds have signed Chapman. At the start of this process, nobody could have imagined the Reds would be the team to sign him.
