For those wondering, the truck has made it safely. Do we need to explain what truck? Of course not.

As big a deal as the truck has become up here in Boston, there's almost as much excitement in Fort Myers, Fla., where the community embraces the Sox for the next six weeks or so. The arrival of the truck signifies the same thing to the community there -- spring training is upon us.

Crews in Fort Myers are unloading the Red Sox gear. Players are already in camp participating in informal workouts.

Our colleagues at the The News-Press in Fort Myers shared some photos of the arrival as a payback for us sharing some images on Friday. Here's a gallery.
