Notes: That right there sure looks like your Opening Day lineup doesn't it? Those nine players for sure, maybe a different order. ... Daisuke Matsuzaka is scheduled to throw batting practice at 11:30. This will be the first time for him. ... There will be an intrasquad "B" game after the regular game that will feature Casey Kelly along with Daniel Bard, Hideki Okajima and others. Fans will be allowed to stay and watch but the concession stands will close. ...

DON'T FORGET: If you have a question for Dustin Pedroia, don't forget to submit it on the blog before 9 a.m. Monday to have it considered.

Back with much more later on.

UPDATE, 10:15 a.m.: Dice-K will throw simulated innings today on the back field to hitters. He is tentatively scheduled to pitch in his first game on or around March 17. ... Jason Varitek remains on track to play tomorrow and Mike Lowell on Monday or Tuesday. ... Lars Anderson (5 for 23) is clearly pressing, Francona said. But he's taking some decent swings and the manager still thinks he's going to go on and have a good season. It would seem likely the Sox send him back to Portland in the hope that he dominates that level and earns a promotion to Pawtucket.

UPDATE, 10:46 a.m.: Josh Beckett starts tomorrow at Minnesota and Tim Wakefield on Monday against the Orioles.
